Sir William de Longespee 4th Earl of Salisbury 
William was born in 1200 in Salisbury Castle, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.1 William's father was Earl of Salisbury William de Longespee and his mother was Ela D'Everaux. His paternal grandparents were King of England Henry (Curtmantel) Plantagenet II and Rosamond de Clifford; his maternal grandparents were Earl of Salisbury William D'Everaux and Eleanor de Vitrei. He had a brother and a sister, named Stephen and Ida. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 49 on February 8th, 1249.1 Death Notes
