Isabel de Huntington

Isabel was born in 1179 in Huntington, Huntingdonshire, England.¹ Isabel's father was Earl of Huntingdon David de Huntingdon and her mother was Isabel de Meschines. Her paternal grandparents were Prince, Earl of Huntington Henry Caenmore of Scotland and Ada De Warenne; her maternal grandparents were Ranulf Le Meschines IV and Maud De Caen. She had a brother and a sister, named Henry and Margaret. She was the youngest of the three children. She had three half-sisters named Isabella, Margaret and Ada.
