Miles was born in 1092 in Gloucestershire, England.1 Miles' father was Constable of Gloucester Walter de Pitres and his mother was Berthe of Gloucester. His paternal grandparents were heriff of Gloucester Roger de Pitres and Eunice de Baalun. He had a sister named Maud. He was the younger of the two children. He died due to hunting accident at the age of 51 on December 24th, 1143 in Llanthonu Priory, Gloucester. He was buried in Llanthonu Priory, Gloucester, England.2 1 -
