Adalbert de Gand (Lambert de Gand) 
Adalbert was born in 0988 in Gand, Flanders, Belgium.1 Adalbert's father was Count of Holland & Ghent Arnulf Holland I and his mother was Liutgard Luxembourg. His paternal grandparents were Count Dietrich of Holland II and Hildegarde Flanders; his maternal grandparents were Siegfried de Luxembourg II and Edith Hedwig de Longwy. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thierry, Dirk III, Siegried, Adelaide, Adele and Hildeburge. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Henry. He died at the age of 44 in 1032 in Gand, East Vlaanderen, Belgium.1 General Notes
