Robert de Ferrers 
Robert was born in 1239 in Derby, Derbyshire, England.1 Robert's father was William de Ferrers and his mother was Margaret de Quincy. His paternal grandparents were William de Ferrers II and Agnes de Meschines; his maternal grandparents were Roger de Quincy and Helen MacDonald of Galloway. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Elizabeth and Joan. He was the oldest of the four children. He had seven half-sisters named Joan, Sibyl, Isabel, Agnes, Maud, Joan and Agatha. He died at the age of 40 in 1279. He was buried in 1279 in Priory of St. Thomas, Staffordshire, England.2 3 -
