Aveline de Courtenay 
Aveline was born about 1259 in Oakhampton, Devonshire, England.1 Aveline's father was Sir John de Courtenay and her mother was Isabelle De Vere. Her paternal grandparents were Baron of Okehampton Robert de Courtenay and Mary de Redviers. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Baron of Okehampton Hugh, John, Robert, Alice, Margaret and Egelina. She was the second youngest of the seven children.-
