Alice de Courtenay 
Alice was born about 1255 in Oakhampton, Devonshire, England.1 Alice's father was Sir John de Courtenay and her mother was Isabelle De Vere. Her paternal grandparents were Baron of Okehampton Robert de Courtenay and Mary de Redviers. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Baron of Okehampton Hugh, John, Robert, Margaret, Aveline and Egelina. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.-
