Lacseline was born in 1118 in Kenilworth Castle, Warwickshire, England.¹ Lacseline's father was Lord Chamberlain & Treasurer Geoffrey de Clinton and her mother was Alice de Beaumont. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph de Tankerville and Agnes Stigand; her maternal grandparents were Earl of Warwick Henry de Beaumont and Margaret de Perche. She had a brother named Geoffrey. She was the older of the two children. She had four half-sisters named Rose, Pernell, Alice and Amice. She died at the age of 75 in 1193.²
