Owain ap Gruffydd de la Pole

Owain was born in 1256. Owain's father was Gruffudd (Brenin of South Powys) ap Gwenwynwyn de la Pole and his mother was Hawise le Strange. His paternal grandparents were Gwenwynwyn ab Owain ap Owain Cyfeilioc and Mary (or Margaret) (Margaret) Corbet. He had two brothers and a sister, named Gwilym, Llewelyn and Mabli Gruffydd. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 37 on October 15th, 1293.
