Gruffudd (Brenin of South Powys) ap Gwenwynwyn de la Pole

Gruffudd, known as Brenin of South Powys, was born in 1215 and his baptism took place in {Bleddyn Ap Cynfyn}. Brenin of South Powys' father was Gwenwynwyn ab Owain ap Owain Cyfeilioc and his mother was Mary (or Margaret) (Margaret) Corbet. His paternal grandparents were Owain Cyfeiliog ap Gruffydd and Gwladus Verch Llywarch. He had a brother and a sister, named Madog ap Gwenwynwyn and Constance ferch Owain. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 72 on February 21st, 1287.
