Matilda "Tillie" Whiteman 
Matilda "Tillie" was born about 1852 in Texas. Matilda "Tillie"'s father was David Waldo Whiteman and her mother was Martha Jane Bryant. Her maternal grandparents were Solomon George Bryant and Lavinia Roberts. She had five brothers and four sisters, named James, Raymond Robert, Alexander C., Joseph A., John Steven, Mahala "Mahalie" Ann, Martha Jane (twin), Mary (twin) and Susan Melinda. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.General Notes
