Bettie Underwood 
Bettie was born on June 16th, 1870 in Taylor Co., KY. Bettie's father was James Franklin Underwood and her mother was Nancy Ann DeWitt. Her paternal grandparents were Anderson Underwood and Priscilla Milby. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Silas, Aaron, Charles, Anderson, James Thomas, Drucilla and Sarah. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had two half-sisters named Mary E. and Sudie. She died at the age of 85 on December 9th, 1955 in Bartonville, Peoria Co., IL.-
