John Alva Tilley 
John Alva was born on April 5th, 1878 in Pleasant Plains, White Co, AR and his baptism took place in Census 1880. John Alva's father was James Franklin Tilley and his mother was Sarah Ellen Caruthers. His paternal grandparents were George William Tilley and Sarah Ellen Morrow. He had five brothers and five sisters, named George Green, Sidney Allen, Elmer Ray, Luther A., Coin Edgar, Emma Delilah, Laura Ella, Eva Viola, Lutie Dove and Lillian Estell. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.General Notes
