Reuben [@@] was born on February 16th, 1783. Reuben [@@]'s father was Dozier [Sr Rev @@] Thornton and his mother was Lucy Elizabeth Hill. His paternal grandparents were Mark [Jr @@] Thornton and Susannah Elizabeth "Susan" Dozier. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Jeremiah [@@], Benjamin T [Sr @@], Dozier [Jr @@], Evans [@@], Jonathan M [@@], Greene [@@], Sanford [@@], Martha Ann "Patsy" [@@], Priscilla [@@], Elizabeth White [@@] and Lucy [@@]. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 80 on December 8th, 1863.-
