George Standish

George was born about 1505 in Standish, Lancashire, England. George's father was Ralph Standish and his mother was Alice Harrington. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Standish and Sibyl de Bold. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Ralph, Roger Robert, Alexander, Roger, Anne, Agnes, Elizabeth and Jane. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
