William Sprague 
William was born on February 2nd, 1691 in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island.1 William's father was Jonathan Sprague and his mother was Mehitable Holbrook. His maternal grandparents were William Holbrook and Elizabeth Pitts. He had a brother and four sisters, named Jonathan, Patience, Joanna, Persis and Mary. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 87 on October 20th, 1778 in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island.1 General Notes
