Patience Sprague 
Patience was born in 1674 in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island.1 Patience's father was Jonathan Sprague and her mother was Mehitable Holbrook. Her maternal grandparents were William Holbrook and Elizabeth Pitts. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan, William, Joanna, Persis and Mary.
