Rosa Ellen Shofner 
Rosa Ellen was born on December 24th, 1881. Rosa Ellen's father was Thomas Jackson Shofner and her mother was Harriet Susan Underwood. Her maternal grandparents were Calloway Underwood and Mary Ann "Polly" Oaks. She had two brothers named Henry Washington and Johnnie Thomas. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 85 on March 11th, 1967.-
