Henry Washington Shofner 
Henry Washington was born on July 15th, 1876 in Taylor Co., KY. Henry Washington's father was Thomas Jackson Shofner and his mother was Harriet Susan Underwood. His maternal grandparents were Calloway Underwood and Mary Ann "Polly" Oaks. He had a brother and a sister, named Johnnie Thomas and Rosa Ellen. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 28 on March 20th, 1905.General Notes
