Grace Thirsaline was born on September 5th, 1897 in Chester, Crawford County, Arkansas, USA.1 Grace Thirsaline's father was James Wright Shipley and her mother was Lillian Lee Jameson. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Pascal SHIPLEY and Elizabeth Mildred LESTER. She had five brothers and a sister, named Ernest Ramon, Onan Slaton, Horace Wetzel, Cecil Jefferson, James Wright and Woodie Belle. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had a half-sister named Lillian Mae. She died at the age of 85 on September 12th, 1982 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas, USA.2 General Notes
Grace Thirsaline Shipley was the twin of James Wright. She married John Robert Collins the 15th of December, 1934. They had no children but raised three Collins children.
