Cecil Jefferson Shipley 
Cecil Jefferson was born on September 5th, 1892 in Atoka, Choctaw Nation, Oklahoma.1 Cecil Jefferson's father was James Wright Shipley and his mother was Lillian Lee Jameson. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Pascal SHIPLEY and Elizabeth Mildred LESTER. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Ernest Ramon, Onan Slaton, Horace Wetzel, James Wright, Woodie Belle and Grace Thirsaline. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Lillian Mae. He died at the age of 73 on September 17th, 1965 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, USA.2 -
