Clara M. was born on February 17th, 1889 in Woodlake, Tulare County, California, USA.1 Clara M.'s father was William Nathan Shipley and her mother was Nancy Alice Ragle. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin Shipley and Mary Sharp Lester. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Nathan William, Clifford Thomas, Charles Edgar, Maude Elizabeth, Florence Virginia, Minnie Geneva, Hazel Alice and Lenore Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 74 on December 22nd, 1963 in , Los Angeles County, California, USA.1 -
