Margaret Seton 
Margaret was born about 1550 in Seton, East Lothian, Scotland. Margaret's father was George Seton and her mother was Isabel Hamilton. Her paternal grandparents were George Seton and Elizabeth Hay; her maternal grandparents were William Hamilton and Catherine Kennedy. She was an only child. She died before February 10th, 1616. Margaret Seton was the daughter of George Seton, 5th Lord Seton and
Isabel Hamilton.1,2 She was born between 1551 and 1558. She married Claud
Hamilton, 1st Lord Paisley, son of James Hamilton, 2nd Earl of Arran and
Lady Margaret Douglas, on 1 August 1574 at Niddry Castle, Scotland.2 She
died before 10 February 1615/16.2 She was b uried on 12 February 1615/16.2
