Archibald Campbell 
Archibald was born in 1466 in Lochowe, Argyll, Scotland. Archibald's father was Colin Campbell and his mother was Isabell Stewart. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Campbell and Elizabeth Somerville. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Elizabeth and Helen. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 47 on September 9th, 1513 in Flodden Field, Northumberland, England.General Notes

Archibald Campbell (2nd Earl of Argyll)

The son of Coli n Campbell, 1st Earl, he became Lord High Chancellor of
Scotland (1483), gove rnor of Tarbert Castle, Lieutenant-General in Argyll
and the Isles (1500) and Heritable Sheriff of the south-west (1509).
Through these positions his clan rose to a position of supremacy,
equalled only by the Gordons in the north. He fell at Flodden Field
(1513) with his king, James IV (1473 - 1513). His yo unger son gave rise
to the Earls of Cawdor.
