Capt. John Scarisbrook 
Capt. John was born on March 27th, 1676 in York County, Virginia. Capt. John's father was Lt. Col. John Scarisbrook and his mother was Mary Martiau. His maternal grandparents were Capt. Nicholas Martiau and Jane Berkeley. He had three sisters named Martha, Mary and Hannah. He was the youngest of the four children.-
