James Monroe Russell 
James Monroe was born on June 22nd, 1882 in Berryville, Carroll Co, AR. James Monroe's father was William Hiram Russell and his mother was Mary Rachel Plumlee. His maternal grandparents were William Plumlee and Mary Polly Standlee. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William Elbert, Linzee Martin, Claud Nathan, Alice Elizabeth, Adeline C., Sarah Ellen, Clara Edith, Della Ann and Vada Denna. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 98 on March 12th, 1981.General Notes
