William Therophilis Roberts 
William Therophilis was born in June 1852 in Granville Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1870.1 William Therophilis' father was McKinsey Patterson Roberts and his mother was Rebecca Jones. His paternal grandparents were George Roberts and Nancy Mize. He had eight brothers and a sister, named George, James Dean, Duane M., Elijah Adolphus, Francis, Eaton L., Thomas H., McKinsey Patterson and Sylvester 'Vesta' Mae. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 65 on September 30th, 1917 in Stem, Granville Co, NC. He was buried in Community Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Granville Co, NC.1 General Notes
