William Anderson Roberts 
William Anderson was born in May 1837 in Caswell Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1900.1 William Anderson's father was Elijah Roberts and his mother was Rebecca B. Davis. His paternal grandparents were Leavin Roberts and Nancy Carrell. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John R., James L., Jerome B. J., Elijah Hanville, Elizabeth Poteat and Ann Poteat. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 63 in 1900.1 General Notes
