Jerome B. J. Roberts 
Jerome B. J. was born in 1835 in Caswell Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1850.1 Jerome B. J.'s father was Elijah Roberts and his mother was Rebecca B. Davis. His paternal grandparents were Leavin Roberts and Nancy Carrell. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John R., James L., Elijah Hanville, William Anderson, Elizabeth Poteat and Ann Poteat.
