Thomas Franklin Roberts 
Thomas Franklin was born on November 12th, 1869 in Cleveland Co, NC.1 Thomas Franklin's father was John Elgin Roberts and his mother was Mary Jane Ware. His paternal grandparents were John W. Roberts and Judith Clement. He had three brothers and five sisters, named S. Lester, Zeb B. Vance, John Ellis, Georgeanna, Laura, Mary Elizabeth, Sudie and Ida Lee. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 on July 27th, 1941 in Cleveland Co, NC. He was buried on July 28th, 1941 in Elizabeth Baptist Cemetery, Cleveland Co, NC.1 General Notes
