Martha Roberts 
Martha was born in 1832 in Caswell Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1850.1 Martha's father was Zephaniah Roberts and her mother was Elizabeth 'Betsy' Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Vincent Roberts and Elizabeth Reed. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James, William R., David, Franklin, Mary, Sallie, Elizabeth and Frances. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 18 in 1850.1 General Notes
