Nicholas Poyntz 
Nicholas was born in 1379 in Iron Acton, Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, England. Nicholas' father was Robert Poyntz and his mother was Catherine Fitz-Nichol. His paternal grandparents were Sir John Poyntz and Elizabeth de Clanvowe. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Maurice, Blanche, Isabel and Joan. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 in 1450 in Iron Acton, Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, England.-
