William Odis Painter 
William Odis was born on May 21st, 1915 in Person Co, NC and his baptism took place in Military. William Odis' father was William Weldon Painter and his mother was Roxie Long. His paternal grandparents were William 'Bill' J. Painter and Mary Elizabeth 'Mollie Bet' Yarbrough. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named George Washington, Luther Weldon, James Thomas, Jessie Bill, Edward Reid, Jerry Onzlow, Lela, Infant and Infant. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died due to Brain Tumor at the age of 47 on July 16th, 1962 in Durham, Durham Co, NC. He was buried on July 18th, 1962 in Painter Family Cemetery, Person Co, NC.General Notes
