Ary Ruffin Painter 
Ary Ruffin was born on October 24th, 1886 in NC and his baptism took place in Census 1900. Ary Ruffin's father was Richard Gilliam Painter and his mother was Elizabeth J. 'Betty' Rhew. His maternal grandparents were John Ruffin Rhew and Susan Roberts. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James B., William F., Soloman Madison, Sula and Nanny Florence. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 64 on February 10th, 1951 in Person Co, NC. He was buried on February 12th, 1951 in Burchwood Cemetery, Roxboro, Person Co, NC.General Notes
