Murrel Richard Owen 
Murrel Richard was born on March 2nd, 1891 in Clio, Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 Murrel Richard's father was William Olry Owen and his mother was Etta Eliza Shipley. His maternal grandparents were Richard Shipley and Sarah Ann Fisher. He had a brother and two sisters, named John William, Ina and Ella Burnette. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 73 on February 17th, 1965. He was buried in Clio, Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 2 General Notes
Murrel served in France during World War I in the 87th "Acorn" Division.
