Lewis Edward Newton 
Lewis Edward was born in February 1888 in , , Arkansas, USA.1 Lewis Edward's father was Stephan A. Newton and his mother was Nancy Elizabeth Sutton. His paternal grandparents were William Newton and Hanna Rette Shipley. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William Frank, Clyde Elga, Albert, Alta J., Minta, Effie and Cora Ellen. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 73 in 1961. He was buried in Gill Cemetery, Van Buren, Crawford County, Arkansas, USA.1 1 General Notes
