*Nancy Newell 
*Nancy was born on January 13th, 1801 in Warren Co. North Carolina (1802).1 *Nancy's father was Peter Newell and her mother was Susannah Durham. Her maternal grandparents were William Durham and Margaret Colclough. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Camp Plummer, James, Mary and Elizabeth. She had four half-brothers named Thomas, Durham, John and Gatewood. She died at the age of 94 on February 6th, 1895.1 General Notes
