Carlton Richard was born on May 10th, 1918 in Durham Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1930. Carlton Richard's father was Lonnie Grun Nash and his mother was Mary Lucy Weaver. His maternal grandparents were Raynor W. Weaver and Sylvester 'Vesta' Mae Roberts. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Charles K., Robert Wade, Louise, Doris, Christine and Bernice.
