He had six brothers and six sisters, named Art, Amos Garth, Lawrence S., Burl F., Frank, James L., Jennie O., Audrey E., Altie V., Alice M., Carrie E. and Clare. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children. He died in 1903. He was buried in Mt. Hope Cem., Tremont, Tazewell Co., IL..General Notes
