Martha E. was born in 1849 in Indiana. Martha E.'s father was William H. NORMAN and her mother was Malinda HELTON. Her paternal grandparents were William NORMAN and Mary Polly KEMP. She had five brothers and six sisters, named James C., Hugh A., Martin V., Edward W., John, Margaret J., Eliza E., Sarah C., Mary Ann, Clara A. and Susan H.. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.-
