Betsy Ann T. was born on January 15th, 1826 in Caswell Co., N. C.. Betsy Ann T.'s father was Wesley NORMAN and her mother was Elizabeth Ann ARNETT. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin NORMAN Sr. and Judy (Mrs. Benjamin) NORMAN. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Joseph C., George T., Cornelius Asberry, Eliza H., Agnes Arnett, Nancy H., Wesley Garrison, Martha Rives and Mary Jane Fletcher. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
