Sir William Molyneux 
William was born in 1337 in Sefton, Lancashire, England.1 William's father was Sir William Molyneux and his mother was Johanna Ellall. His paternal grandparents were Richard Molyneux and Agatha Kyerton. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Richard, Edward, Peter, John, Christopher, Robert, Simon and Agnes. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 35 in 1372 in Sefton, Lancashire, England.1 General Notes

He was made a Knight Banneret, 1367, after the battle of Navarrette, by Edward, the Black Prince, under whose standard he continued to serve during that gallant Prince's subsequent French and Spanish wars.
