Her paternal grandparents were William Sheriff of Cheshire De Mobberley and Maude Downs. She had a brother and six sisters, named William, Emma, Joan, Ellen, Agnes, Elizabeth and Cecily. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died in 1372 in Nether Tabley, Cheshire, Eng. .-
