Sarah Allis was born on May 15th, 1858 in Middletown, Middlesex Co., Conecticut.1 Sarah Allis' father was Nicholas Wallingford MURROW and her mother was Hester Ann OWENS. Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas Wallingford MURROW and Elizabeth MORRIS. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin Franklin, Charles Wallingford, William Riley, George Falconer, James Allen, Mary Elizabeth and Emily Francis. She was the youngest of the eight children.-
