Iowa America was born on December 3rd, 1865 in Mahaska Co., Iowa.1 Iowa America's father was Thomas Alexander MURROW and her mother was Evaline KING. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Lewis MURROW and Sarah BLUE. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Cary Lafayette, Charles E., David Leonard, John Riley, Jesse Lee, Freddie, Eddie, Perry Otis, Adelia A., Nellie Edna, Byrney Ethel and Joanna Evanda. She was the third oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 59 on April 22nd, 1925 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.1 -
