Peter Lyon 
Peter was born in 1773 in Redding, Fairfield, Connecticut. Peter's father was John Lyon and his mother was Hepzibah Betts. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Lyon and Abigail Mallory. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, George, William Henry, Abigail, Reuben, Sabra and Ruth. He was the third youngest of the eight children.-
