Abigail Lyon 
Abigail was born in 1764 in Redding, Fairfield, Connecticut. Abigail's father was John Lyon and her mother was Hepzibah Betts. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Lyon and Abigail Mallory. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter, George, William Henry, Reuben, Sabra and Ruth. She was the second oldest of the eight children.-
