Sylvia was born in 1909 in OR. Sylvia 's father was Arthur J. LANGELE and her mother was Minnie OLIVER . Her maternal grandparents were Elbert Wells OLIVER and Louisa E. McKINLEY. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Marion, Earl, Theodore , Bert, Rosie, Myrtle , Alda and Goldie. She was the youngest of the nine children.-
