Ivy R. Kern 
Ivy R. was born on June 18th, 1890 in Franklin Co, IL.1 Ivy R.'s father was Gettis Montgomery Berryhill Kern and her mother was Nancy 'Nannie' Lydie Turner. Her maternal grandparents were Monroe L. Turner and Martha Leah Grant. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Clifford D., James Arthur, William, Samuel Jones, Omer D., William Glenn, Pearly May, Nellie L., Carrie, Ruby Furman and Lottie Marie. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 85 in 1975.1 General Notes
