Clifford D. Kern 
Clifford D. was born on November 25th, 1879 in Franklin Co, IL.1 Clifford D.'s father was Gettis Montgomery Berryhill Kern and his mother was Nancy 'Nannie' Lydie Turner. His maternal grandparents were Monroe L. Turner and Martha Leah Grant. He had five brothers and six sisters, named James Arthur, William, Samuel Jones, Omer D., William Glenn, Pearly May, Nellie L., Carrie, Ivy R., Ruby Furman and Lottie Marie. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 92 on March 14th, 1972 in Franklin Co, IL.1 General Notes
